Director of Recreation on Mars

What is the Director of Recreation on Mars? Why is the Director of Recreation of Mars? As a kid, in school I was assigned the role of Director of Recreation on Mars during a unit on space. 20 years later, I still identify with that job description…so for my 35th birthday I’m launching a “content creation” arm under that pseudonym. We’ll discover what this role means for life on Mars together, but mostly it’s my observations as a neurodivergent, Hoosier Jewess making my way in the world and pushing myself out of my comfort zone(s).

I’m Annie and I’ll be your guide as we kvell over the glaciers of the Cascades, schvitz through the Mojave Desert (it’s dry heat!), and schlepp our packs (or skis!) over every hill, forest nook, and alpine wonderland this planet can offer!
